The university has also enhanced facilities for students in regular programs - - at both the undergraduate and graduate levels - - so that they are well versed in foreign languages. It has achieved this by the establishment of Ramkhamhaeng University Institute of Languages (RIL) with well equipped, modern and high standard facilities, as the center for the teaching and learning of foreign languages to both students and staff at Ramkhamhaeng University and members of the general public in 2002. In addition, RIL also offers courses teaching Thai to foreigners.
Currently, RIL is one of the largest and most modern institutions of its kind.
