During the current era of the universitys development, one of the main purposes is to train all its graduates so that they evolve into knowledgeable individuals with a strong sense of moral values. To this end, a course, entitled Knowledge and Morality, is mandatory for all undergraduate and graduate students studying at Ramkhamhaeng.
The overall aim is to help in developing the countrys human resources, producing highly qualified graduates with the requisite knowledge, skills, and moral values, with a reputation for serving Thai society and the nation at large, thereby forming the backbone of the nation both in the present and in the years ahead.

Ramkhamhaeng University cares about its students, about the quality of education they receive, and about creating further opportunities for the members of Thai society at large. Furthermore, the university is equally interested in producing graduates who are not only academically qualified, but who are also armed with a sense of ethics and morality, and hence capable of serving as a force for good in the world.
Our aim is not merely to turn out a constant stream of graduates to fulfill the ever-increasing demands of both the public and private sector for competent employees; rather we aim to turn out the type of students who will go on in some way, to distinguish themselves in their respective fields, thereby making a significant contribution to society as a whole. Not surprisingly, therefore, distinguished academics both from Thailand and overseas continue to rate graduates of 'Ram' very highly, counting them among the best in their respective fields.
Since the inception of Ramkhamhaeng University in 1971, it has produced over 600,000 graduates in all. RUs graduates disperse to virtually every part of the country, serving the nation in their different ways and in widely different fields.
