Reviving Thai Art and Culture

Ramkhamhaeng University has made a concerted effort to revive Thai art and culture, the country’s precious national heritage. RU Institute of Art and Culture was established based on an awareness of the importance of art and cultural activities. In addition, culture is believed to form a sound basis for the development of the mind, reinforcing the values of our graduates and enabling them to serve the nation as quality human resources.
Various activities involving traditional Thai arts and culture are arranged for and by staff and students all year round.

“Khon” is the high classical Thai dance, a type of masked play, which is one of the most sublime forms of artistic expression of traditional Thai culture.
