Programs of Study

The university has developed its curriculum by controlling standards and implementing quality assurance in ways that can be audited and accepted internationally.
The university teaches a wealth of subjects, expanding its programs of study in a comprehensive manner, both vertically and horizontally, including research programs. Currently, Ramkhamhaeng University offers programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including the Ph.D. level, in Social Science, Humanities, Science and Engineering.

Teaching and Learning Systems

Because of its unique character as an “academic marketplace”, with admission open to all, Ramkhamhaeng has for a long time offered its students two systems of instruction, in the form of both on-campus and distance learning, a field in which it has had extensive experience -- long before it became fashionable among the educational community.
The university has also developed teaching and learning systems, both in terms of on-campus and distance learning; also, classroom equipment has been fully modernized by the installation of state-of-the-art technology to enhance the quality of both teaching and learning at Ramkhamhaeng.

Various modes of instruction have been adopted at Ramkhamhaeng University, the main system of instruction being a combination of on-campus instruction and distance learning via satellite, mail, radio, television, e-Learning, e-Books, Mobile Phone and other forms of modern information technology. Students may choose the mode of instruction that best suits their individual needs.

Research

One of the university’s objectives is to promote the advancement of knowledge through research in a variety of fields, both at the Master’s and Ph.D. levels, as well as research studies conducted by Ramkhamhaeng University in heir respective fields. As a result, in a relatively short period of time, Ramkhamhaeng University has earned itself a reputation with regard to the important research work that it has produced.
