Ramkhamhaeng University is the first
Open University in Thailand with the aims to provide equality for higher
education to all people in the Kingdom. Since education is the essence
of development, we can be sure the growth and development in all segments of
Thai society will be inevitable when higher education is both
widespread and of equal opportunity. Ramkhamhaeng University strongly
emphasizes on individual ability, individual potential, and individual
freedom. By doing so, we believe the society as a whole will benefit from

Admission
Policy
Ramkhamhaeng University is
committed to the concept of providing quality education both at the
undergraduate and graduate levels. The university emphasizes strongly on the
principle of educational equality which mean those individuals interested in
pursuing their study at R.U. are welcome regardless of race, religion, age,
sex, income, occupation, nationality or disability, so long as they satisfy
the entrance qualifications. The university strives to achieve this goal at
no expense to academic excellence.
The university has played a vital
role in solving the problem of shortage of seat for the universities of the
country by accept unlimited number of the students to study without an
entrant examination. This was the greatest opportunity of the people toward
higher education.
Tuition Fees
Tuition Fees are due each semester
during the enrollment period.
A student enrollment is not complete until all fees are paid. The
schedule

Transferred Students
Prospective students who have already
earned a certain amount of college credits and or degree, either from RU.
or elsewhere, and wish to transfer these credits towards a baccalaureate
degree at RU. are entitled to apply for admissions. The number of credits
transferred vary from faculty to faculty. Consult concerning faculty for
more details. The applicants must belong to any of the following categories
:
1. Holders of the Associate Degrees
or the equivalents.
2. Graduates seeking the second
Bachelor Degrees.
3. Former students of R.U. who
overstayed the time limit and have been dismissed
