Faculty of Humanities

The Faculty of Humanities, officially opened in 1971, was one of the original four faculties of Ramkhamhaeng University.
The faculty used a temporary building which was built for the International Trade Fair of 1968 until the construction 
of its present building in 1974. At present, the Faculty of Humanities offers courses at the undergraduate level and
graduate level for Humanities' students working towards a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts and for those students
in other faculties who must take the courses as part of their general education,  minor or free electives requirements.

The Faculty of Humanities is composed of eight academic departments as follows :
1. The Department of English and Linguistics
2. The Department of Thai and Oriental Languages 
3. The Department of History
4. The Department of Library Science
5. The Department of Western Languages 
6. The Department of Philosophy
7. The Department of Sociology and Anthropology 
8. The Department of Mass Communication
